Jodi Sta. Maria’s Reaction To John Lloyd Cruz’s Rumored Return
JOHN LLOYD CRUZ’S COMEBACK – Actress Jodi Sta. Maria is surprised about the rumored comeback of actor John Lloyd Cruz following the latter was seen in Piolo Pascual’s Instagram post.
Actor Piolo Pascual posted the photo of John Lloyd with the words “ANG PAGBABALIK” put there probably to imply the actor’s return to show business.
Seemingly teasing his return, John Lloyd Cruz has not released any statement confirming his return. However, John Lloyd previously said that he did not care about not having movie projects.
John Lloyd Cruz recently took a long break from show business. The reasons weren’t exactly clear but he said it is to spend time with actress Ellen Adarna instead.
He is currently in hiatus following his issuance of indefinite leave to ABS-CBN.
While curiosity surrounds whether John Lloyd has plans on once again claiming his ever successful career or not anymore, his Tabing Ilog co-star Jodi Sta. Maria was surprised about the rumors.

Actress Jodi Sta. Maria was interviewed by the press. Apparently, the actress wasn’t aware of John Lloyd Cruz’s comeback.
According to an entertainment article from PEP, the actress said that she didn’t know about the return of John Lloyd. Meanwhile, she was happy.
When asked about her knowledge about John Lloyd’s return she said:
“I really don’t know, but if he is, wow, that will be great!”
Jodi Sta. Maria and John Lloyd Cruz used to work together in the 90’s show ‘Tabing Ilog’ which will have its 20th anniversary this 2019.
Tabing Ilog is a Filipino teen drama series with the plot surrounding the adventure-filled lives of the characters Anne, Eds, Badong, James, Rovic, Fonzy, Corrine, and George.
