The Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) companies in the rich countries preferred to employ Filipinos to cater their customers via phone call.
Undeniably, Pinoy has shown the world that they are good in English and can even teach other countries.
Meanwhile, good news for the teachers in the country just arrived. They will now have a chance to earn enough money just by teaching English in Thailand.
Surely, this news will bring delight to lots of teachers who are not contented with their salary.
Based on a report from GMA News, DOLE announced that Filipino English is needed in Thailand soon.
On Tuesday, DOLE Secretary Silvestre Bello III disclosed that the Philippine government is set to sign a Memorandum of Understanding with Thailand this month.
According to the report, Thailand clarified that they will only hire English teachers for the meantime.
DOLE Secretary said he has no idea how many Filipino English teachers will be needed in that host country.
