20 Actors & 11 Actresses Included in Drugs Watchlist
About 20 Filipino actors and 11 Pinay actresses are included in the drugs watchlist released by the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency.
On Wednesday (March 27, 2019), PDEA Director General Aaron Aquino revealed that there are 31 Filipino celebrities included on the government’s drugs watchlist.
Aquino said that eleven out of 31 celebrities on the list are actresses and the remaining are actors.
The PDEA executive also that only three of the celebrities were adults and the rest are still young.
“[Sa] thirty-one na yan, palagay ko tatlo lang yung matanda. All of them are young,” he added. “Puro bata, at least 20 or 30” in age,” Aquino said.
He also revealed that some of the celebrities are drug pushers while others are just users.
However, the list of celebrities who were included in the drugs watchlist will not be released without the approval of President Rodrigo Duterte.
Presidential Spokesperson Salvador Panelo also said that celebrities on the list would face legal charges if there is already evidence.
