Bacolod Mayor Bing Leonardia Endorsed by President Duterte
President Rodrigo Duterte has clarified the name of Bacolod Mayor Bing Leonardia and endorsed him for the upcoming election 2019.
The Facebook page “Rody Duterte” has shared the video footage of Mr. Duterte making a clarification on his statement about Evelio “Bing” Leonardia of Bacolod City.
In the video, President Duterte said that he never mentioned the name of Bing Leonardia on his narco-list.
Mr. Duterte clarified that he only mentioned the name of Leonardia on his previous meeting together with all city mayors in the country.
The Philippine President’s clarification came after Monico Puentevella allegedly misunderstood his previous statement thinking that the Bacolod City mayor was among the drug-watch list.
Duterte also expressed his support for Bing Leonardia and even endorsed him for the upcoming 2019 elections.
Rody also described Bing as a direct and honest guy who deserved to be the mayor of Bacolod City.
At the end of the video, the president also expressed his gratitude for all the citizens of Bacolod for supporting him.
