Kaye Abad revealed something about John Lloyd Cruz
Kapamilya actress Kaye Abad revealed something about her ex-boyfriend and former Tabing Ilog love team partner John Lloyd Cruz.
The former couple used to be together in the hit youth-oriented show of ABS-CBN during the 90s.
Eventually, their togetherness led to something special but it was just short-lived since they were still young.
Now that they are both Cebu-based since Kaye married former PBB housemate Paul Jake Castillo while Lloydie is in a relationship with Ellen Adarna. Paul Jake and Ellen are both from the said province in the Visayas.
During the press conference of her new teleserye Nang Ngumiti ang Langit, Kaye was asked if there was a chance she saw JLC in Cebu.
“Palagi naman akong nasa labas pero hindi ko pa rin siya nakikita. Ang daming nagtatanong niyan pero hindi pa kami nagkikita rin. Baka ayaw na ng tadhana na magkita kami kasi maayos na ang mga buhay namin,” she answered.
However, she shared that Paul Jake and Ellen are good friends.
“Hindi na kami in touch ni Lloydie. Si Ellen and si Paul Jake, friends sila pero hindi naman barkada talaga na like they hang out. Kasi may anak na rin siya, kumbaga lahat kami ay may pamilya na,” the actress said.
When asked about the hiatus of her ex-boyfriend, she said that what John Lloyd Cruz did was not shocking anymore for her.
She already had an idea that the A-list actor would eventually seek out another field than show business, based on the report from Philstar.
“Kasi before pa alam ko na siya ‘yung tipong kapag okay na siya, ay okay na siya. Alam niyang hindi ito ang gagawin niyang pangkabuhayan. Kumbaga nakaipon na siya, gagawa siya ng business. Hindi ‘yung pag-aartista ang gagawin niyang source of income,” Kaye said.
