RONNIE RICKETTS GUILTY – Here are the reactions of the netizens after the iconic action star and ex-OMB chair Ronnie Ricketts was found guilty of graft.
As previously reported, based on the article, the actor and former Optical Media Board chairman Ronnie Ricketts was found guilty by the Sandiganbayan of graft over released of pirated DVDs. This controversy was way back 2010 and the verdict was given after a length of roughly 9 years of investigation.
Also, aside from the iconic action star, OMB’s computer operator Glenn Perez was also charged guilty while OMB’s Enforcement and Inspection Division (EID) Head Manuel Mangubat and investigation agent Joseph Arnaldo were acquitted.
Based on GMA’s report, Ricketts’ counsel, Pedro Tanchuling has expressed, “The Sandiganbayan may be clarified better if accused Ricketts would take the witness stand. We know remedy is also available to us but we would rather be allowed now. We will ensure this will be done in a one-day hearing.”
As Ricketts refused to comment about this, netizens were shocked and were not able to help it but react to this.
