Latest Weather Updates in PH Released by PAGASA

The state weather bureau PAGASA released the newest and the latest weather updates in the country for today.

On Saturday (March 16, 2019), the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) reported the current weather condition.

PAGASA said that the northeast monsoon would continue to affect the weather condition over some parts of the country.

The northeast monsoon would bring cloudy weather conditions with light rain over the  Ilocos Region, as well as the Batanes and Babuyan Islands.

The Cold Front’s Tail-end would bring cloudy conditions with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms over the Cordillera Administrative Region, the rest of Cagayan Valley Region, Aurora, and Quezon.

Partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers are expected over the rest of the country.

Meanwhile, the coastal water conditions over the extreme northern Luzon would be rough.

The surrounding sea conditions over the rest of northern Luzon and eastern sections of Central and southern Luzon would be moderate to rough.

Moderate coastal waters are expected over the rest of Luzon and the eastern sections of the Visayas and Mindanao.

Slight to moderate waters are expected over the remaining parts of the country, according to the weather agency.

The tropical depression monitored by PAGASA was last spotted at 1,595 kilometers east of Mindanao with maximum sustained winds of 45 kilometers per hour (kph) and gustiness of up to 60 kph.
