7 Easy Steps on How To Cook Menudo

HOW TO COOK MENUDO – Here are the seven(7) easy steps on how to cook a delicious pork Menudo.

One of the things that many people love to do is cooking. To a lot of people, it is their hobby and one way to show their love for their loved ones. Are you also one of this kind of people?

You might be looking for something delicious to cook soon or specifically how to come up with a delicious pork Menudo. Undeniably, it is one of the dishes that a lot of Filipino people like.

Based on a recipe posted on Panlasang Pinoy, there are actually only seven(7) easy steps on how to cook Menudo that will surely make people eat a lot.

Here is the list of ingredients that you should prepare for Menudo cooking:

  • 2 lbs. pork
  • 1/4 lb. pig liver
  • 1 cup potatoes diced
  • 1 piece carrot cubed
  • 1/2 cup soy sauce
  • 1/2 piece lemon
  • 1 piece onion
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 3/4 cup tomato sauce
  • 1 cup water
  • 4 pieces hotdogs sliced diagonally
  • 2 tablespoons cooking oil
  • 2 to 3 pieces dried bay leaves
  • Salt and pepper to taste

How To Cook Menudo

Step 1 – Put the lemon, pork, and soy sauce in a bowl and then marinate them for at least one(1) hour.

Step 2 – Heat the oil in a pan.

Step 3 – Saute the garlic and onion.

Step 4 – Add the marinated pork to the pan and cook it for five(5) to seven(7) minutes.

Step 5 – Add tomato sauce and water. Add the bay leaves and let it boil and simmer for half an hour (depending on your pork’s toughness). Based on the article, you can add some water if needed.

Step 6 – Add liver and hotdogs and then cook it for five(5) minutes.

Step 7 – Add potatoes, sugar salt, pepper, and carrots. Stir it and cook for eight(8) to twelve(12) more minutes.

Your pork Menudo is best served warm. Enjoy a wonderful meal with your loved ones.
