TAWAG NG TANGHALAN – The Tawag ng Tanghalan March 8 winner is Queenie Joy Ocampos from Mindanao, her first win as a defending champion.
The March 8 daily contenders are:
- Regine Mejica (Luzon)
- CA Placer (Visayas)
- Queenie Joy Ocampos (Mindanao)
The daily contender Queenie Joy Ocampos from Mindanao who garnered the highest score of 92.4% was today’s daily winner and she will be facing the current defending champion Christian Biando from Metro Manila on his fifth day to defend the title and the “golden mikropono”.
In the final round or the “tapatan”, the daily winner and the defending champion fought over the title through singing their winning pieces. However, only one made it and tagged as March 8 defending champion and that is Queenie Joy Ocampos of Mindanao with a score of 94.4%.

- VOICE QUALITY – 50%
- OVERALL PERFORMANCE – 50%
The judges for March 8 are Jaya, Yeng Constantino, Nyoy Volante, Karylle, and Punong Hurado Gary Valenciano.
Tawag Ng Tanghalan is aired in the noontime show Its Showtime which is now on its third year and a singing competition for the amateur singers. The known champions from TNT were Noven Belleza, Jhon Clyd Talili, and Janine Berdin for the first year, kids edition, and second year respectively.
