Japeth Aguilar Proposes to Girlfriend Cassandra Naidas At NAIA Airport
JAPETH AGUILAR – Gilas Pilipinas player Japeth Aguilar proposed to his girlfriend Cassandra Naidas at the NAIA Airport.
Philippine Basketball Association (PBA) player Japeth Aguilar is a part of the Barangay Ginebra San Miguel team.
The professional basketball player previously played for the Ateneo Blue Eagles during his University Athletic Association of the Philippines (UAAP) days.
Japeth Aguilar attempted to join the National Basketball Association (NBA). In fact, he was the first born and raised Pinoy that was invited to workout with the American team.
However, the Filipino basketball player was not selected in the NBA draft. In June 2013, Japeth became part of the Barangay Ginebra San Miguel team.
Last week, after Japeth Aguilar helped the team Philippines qualify for the Fiba World Cup, he proposed to his longtime girlfriend Cassandra Naida at the Ninoy Aquino National Airport (NAIA).
Cassandra shared a photo of her wearing her engagement ring on Instagram Story. It came with a caption, “Exactly what I wanted. Just a huge black diamond platinum band.”
On his Instagram account, he revealed that he actually had a different wedding proposal plan but he couldn’t wait any longer.
In the caption of the post, he wrote: “Couldn’t be happier. I was planning something else on a different day to propose but I couldn’t wait any longer.”
