CEBU PACIFIC BAGGAGE POLICY – The Cebu Pacific Airlines provided answers to frequently asked questions about its new baggage policy.
Starting January 15, 2019, Cebu Pacific implemented new policy on bags and luggage of flight passengers. A limit on the number of bags depending on the baggage weight was set.
The airline previously announced that for a flight passenger with a 20-kg luggage limit, he or she can bring a maximum of two(2) bags. For a passenger with a 32-kg. luggage limit, a maximum of three(3) bags can be brought.
With regards to a passenger with a 40-kg luggage limit, he or she can bring a maximum of four(4) bags. Meanwhile, a passenger is allowed to purchase more baggage allowance.
It’s only less than two(2) months now since the implementation of the new Cebu Pacific baggage policy started. Surely, a lot of flight passengers have queries about it and there are frequently asked questions.
Recently, through a social media post, the airline provided answers to frequently asked questions about the new Cebu Pacific baggage policy.
According to Cebu Pacific, the bags that the flight passengers would have for checked-in do not really have to on equal weight.
For example, if a passenger has a 20-kg baggage allowance, one bag may weight 15 kg. while the other will weight 65 kg.
Another frequently asked question is with regards to the number of bags of for check-in. The airlines clarified that the flight passenger does not have to reach the maximum limit of the number of bags.
Also one of the frequently asked questions that the airline answered regarding the Cebu Pacific baggage policy is about bringing a box of fruits. The airline clarified that it is allowed but it will be considered as one(1) piece.
