Latest Weather Updates in PH Released by PAGASA

The state weather bureau PAGASA released the newest and the latest weather updates in the country for today.

On Monday (February 25, 2019), the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) reported the possible weather condition.

PAGASA said that the northeast monsoon would continue to affect the weather condition in the country.

The northeast monsoon would bring cloudy weather conditions with isolated light rain over the eastern side of the Philippines.

The Amihan would bring partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains over the Bicol region.

Northern Samar, Oriental Mindoro, Romblon, and Marinduque would be also affected by the same weather system.

Latest Weather Updates

The remaining parts of the country would have partly cloudy to cloudy conditions, according to the weather agency.

The Typhoon with an international name “Wutip” was still being monitored by PAGASA and last located at 1,815 kilometers east of southern Luzon outside the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR).

Wutip has maximum sustained winds of 185 kilometers per hour (kph) and gustiness of up to 225 kph moving 10 kph at a northwest direction.

Meanwhile, the coastal water conditions over the Northern Samar would be moderate to rough.

The surrounding sea waters over the Bicol Region, Oriental Mindoro, Romblon and Marinduque would be slight to moderate, according to the weather bureau.
