NBA ALL-STAR GAME – Listed here are greatest player performances in history at the NBA All-Star Game.
Following a previous article, the National Basketball Association (NBA) just revealed the starters and captains for both Western and Eastern Conference for the All-Star game this year.
The All-Star game will be held at the Spectrum Center in Charlotte this coming February 28, 2019. The team captains are (West) LeBron James of Los Angeles Lakers and (East) Giannis Antetokounmpo of Milwaukee Bucks.
Surely NBA fans around the world can’t wait to see their favorite basketball players teamed up with other best players like Stephen Curry, Kevin Durant, and Kyrie Irving among others.
As we wait for the most anticipated game, we’ll review the Best All-Star Game Performances ever by several famous basketball players. Here is the list:
2011 in Los Angeles, the Mamba from the West made his hometown proud of his outstanding performance. He earned 37 points and won his 4th All-Star game as MVP.
ALLEN IVERSON
In 2001, Allen Iverson gave the East an amazing comeback triumph. It was a very close game that ended with a 111-110 scoreline.
Out of 14 amazing games of Michael Jordan to choose from, the 1988 was his signature moment on the All-Star game. He scored 40 points playing for the East.
WILT CHAMBERLAIN
East player Wilt Chamberlain earned 42 points and 24 rebounds during his NBA All-Star game in 1962.
MAGIC JOHNSON
Based on a report from Orlando Sentinel, Magic Johnson made a comeback to the court scoring 25 points, 9 assists and take home the MVP award in 1992. It was months after he decided to retire from the NBA because he was contracted with HIV.
