Still Unidentified Person Shot Zamboanga Del Sur Chairman
ZAMBOANGA DEL SUR CHAIRMAN – A barangay chairman in a municipality in Zamboanga del Sur was shot by a still unidentified suspect.
A few months before Election 2019, several alarming incidents involving politicians happened. It even prompted the Senate to lodge an inquiry regarding the incidents that took lives of several public servants.
Recently, another government official in the local level was attacked by a still unidentified person.
Based on a report on ABS-CBN News, Zamboanga del Sur chairman Gavino
According to the report, the 52-year-old victim is the barangay chairman of Labangan.
The initial investigation reportedly showed that the barangay chairman was aboard his motorcycle along Barangay New Labangan when the still unidentified suspect shot him.
Based on the report, Lacsado was brought to the nearest hospital. Unfortunately, he was declared dead on arrival.
Currently, the police authorities are still investigating the incident. They are in the pursuit to find out the motive of the suspect for doing it to the barangay chairman.
