Pope Francis is the first pope to have set foot in the Arabian Peninsula gathering hundreds of thousands of faithful at the Abu Dhabi’s Zayed Sports City Stadium. He delivered a mass in a combination of Arabic, English, and Latin.
“This is a very, very big blessing to see him in Abu Dhabi, and was a lifetime experience for us… It’s a big deal to see him here in UAE, I’ve only seen him on the internet and videos on Youtube. But seeing him in a close vicinity was like … I have no words for that,” says a 23-year-old Catholic Joshua Sebastian from India according to CNBC’s report.
And one of the performers is Sarah Geronimo who sang “The Prayer”, “The Climb,” “Rise Up,” “Man in the Mirror,” and her own single “Forever’s Not Enough.” And her boyfriend Matteo Guidicelli could not just any prouder.
