President Rodrigo Duterte addressed death rumors about him

President Rodrigo Duterte finally breaks his silence on his rumored death circulating on social media.

The issues concerning the health of the Chief Executive of the Philippines is not new anymore.

Previously, rumors stating that he has cancer surfaced on news sites. There also those who even took notice of his physical appearance.

On the other hand, Duterte showed the result of his medical examination to the Cabinet Members to prove that he is cancer-free.

Last week, the President was even spotted attending the premiere night of Robin Padilla’s movie featuring the life of former Philippine National Police Chief Ronaldo Dela Rosa.

Despite of this, rumors concerning his health still propagated. These rumors went extreme just recently as allegation about the “death” of President Rodrigo Duterte circulated online.

With regards to this issue, the President releases his statement through the social media account of his partner Honeylet Avanceña.

Duterte said to those who believe his rumored death, “pray for the eternal repose of my soul.”

A video captured by GMA News even showed that Duterte together with his partner showed the date in a newspaper to disprove the rumors about his death.
