President Duterte Reveals Medical Exam To Cabinet Members During Meeting
DUTERTE – Philippine President Rodrigo Duterte revealed his medical exam result to his cabinet members during a meeting.
President Duterte previously went to the hospital for his colonoscopy and endoscopy exam. Duterte is speculated to be suffering from a serious ailment.
The purpose of those medical exams is to examine the status of his digestive tract and the lining of the colon. As promised by the Presidential spokesman, Harry Roque, they will let the people know as soon as the result comes out.
Based on the report from ABS-CBN, Special Assistant to the President, Bong Go, told the reporters that President Duterte is very healthy and in high spirits.
“He is cancer-free,” Go told the reporters.
Go expressed that there is nothing to worry about the President, their job will prevail and Duterte will be able to finish his term and could live beyond 2022.
He gave thanks to the people who are concerned about the President’s health and he assured that there is nothing more to worry about.
According to the report, Acting Interior Secretary Eduardo Año said the President told his Cabinet members that the medical exam resulted “negative”.
“He disclosed to us that the result of the test was negative, the one where they took samples from his intestines,” Año told the reporters.
Based on the report, during the President’s speech at the Philippine Military Academy alumni, he said, “If it’s cancer, it’s cancer. If it’s third stage, no more treatment. I will no longer prolong my agony in the office.”
Now that the result came out good for the President, we would expect more from him in the coming years.
