Manila Bay Clean Up Drive Joined by Fire Volunteers

Fire volunteers and other participants have joined the recent Manila Bay clean up drive aiming to remove remaining waste in the area.

This week, Manila Bay has been one of the most controversial and discussed topics in the country after more than 5,000 volunteers have united to clean the place.

The volunteers composed of students, government employees, and other sectors successfully clean the one of the dirtiest bays in the country.

Several residents have also exerted effort to remove the remaining garbage in the bay and urging hard-headed citizens to stop littering.

On Saturday (February 2, 2019), a Facebook user named Jo Soliman has uploaded photos and videos of the latest clean up drive at the Manila Bay.

In the video, it can be seen that some fire personnel have already joined the cleanup drive and even used a fire truck to clear the area from garbage.

DILG, MMDA, Octagon Fire Volunteer, Paco Fire Volunteer, Raha Volunteers Fire Department, Rosita Soliman Foundation, and Pure Force participated on the Saturday clean up activity.
