‘Alias Kamah’ is “Prime Suspect” For Incidents at the Jolo Cathedral
JOLO CATHDRAL – The “prime suspect” behind the incidents at a church in Jolo, Sulu was reportedly identified as ‘Alias Kamah’.
Even the other nations condemn the recent incidents at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Cathedral in Jolo, Sulu. Last Sunday, January 27, 2019, twin “blasts” taking away several lives took place.
The first incident happened inside the Jolo church. The mass was ongoing during that time and lots of churchgoers were left dead and injured. The second “blast” happened at the gate of the church when the authorities were securing the area.
The Jolo cathedral incidents left at least 20 people dead and more than 100 individuals wounded. A thorough investigation is currently ongoing. The incident sparked heightened alert in Police and the PH immigration.
Previously, four(4) men were tagged as “persons of interest” in the Jolo church incidents following a CCTV footage’s retrieval. The said footage showed the areas near the church when the incidents happened.
The men have already gone to the authorities to clear their names. One of them is a teacher and one is a student. They were already removed from the list of persons of interests over the incidents.
Recently, CNN took to their social media account a post containing about the “prime suspect” for the Jolo cathedral incidents. According to the post on Twitter, the person allegedly mainly responsible is “Alias Kamah”.
As of this writing, there are still no further information regarding the “prime suspect”. We’ll keep you posted for updates.
