On Sunday (January 27, 2019), the blast at the Mount Carmel Cathedral Jolo, Sulu causes fear among the residents.
The authorities believe that Abu Sayyaf subgroup Ajang-Ajang group is responsible for the incident in Barangay Walled City, Jolo town in Sulu.
Sulu province’s Jolo town was placed under a lock-down prohibiting the residents to enter the area for safety purposes.
The entire Sulu is now on the high alert setting checkpoint throughout the area tightening the security.
Recently, a Facebook user named Andeo Besneti has uploaded the aftermath photos of the Jolo incident.
The photos show the horrifying situation in the area after the incident that took numerous lives took place.
