Still Unidentified Suspects Shot NIA Engineer Joseph Adam in Maguindanao

NIA ENGINEER – National Irrigation Administration Engineer Joseph Adam was shot by still unidentified suspects in Maguindanao.

Undeniably, there were lots of recent attacks done by unidentified suspects in the different areas in the Philippines. One of the latest incidents involves an engineer of the National Irrigation Administration.

Based on a report on GMA News Online, the victim was identified by Maguindanao Police Provincial Office Chief Senior Superintendent Magzali Mukaram as Engr. Joseph Adam.

According to the report, Adam was the municipal engineer of Datu Montawal before. He is currently the engineer of the National Irrigation Administration tasked for the Malitubog-Maridagao Irrigation Project (MALMAR) in Pikit.

The NIA engineer was shot by still unidentified suspects aboard a motorcycle in Maguindanao. According to the police, he was driving his car on his way to his residence in Kabacan from Pikit when he was attacked.

Based on the report, Adam was lost control of his car after obtaining wounds and it hit the concrete post that can be found along the Cotabato-Davao highway.

The engineer was brought to the hospital but he was pronounced dead on arrival. The authorities suspect that the incident is work-related or family conflicts.
