Latest Updates on Tropical Depression Amang Released by PAGASA
The state weather bureau PAGASA released the newest and the latest weather updates in the country for today.
On Tuesday (January 22, 2019), the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) reported the recent update about Tropical Depression Amang.
PAGASA said that Tropical Depression Amang weakened into a low-pressure area but would still affect the country’s weather condition.
The low-pressure area’s trough would bring cloudy weather conditions with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms over the Bicol, Eastern Visayas, Caraga, and Davao Regions; as well as the provinces of Camiguin, Misamis Oriental, and Bukidnon.
The LPA was last spotted at 195 kilometers east-northeast of Virac, Catanduanes, according to the weather agency.
The northeast monsoon would also bring cloudy conditions with light rains over the Cagayan Valley Region, Aurora, and Quezon.
The rest of Luzon and the visayas would have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains due to Amihan.
Partly cloudy weather conditions with isolated rainshowers are also expected over the rest of the country.
Meanwhile, the coastal water conditions over the northern Luzon and the eastern sections of Central and southern Luzon would be rough.
The rough water condition was expected over the eastern sections of the Visayas.
The surrounding sea conditions over the rest of Luzon, Visayas, and the western sections of Mindanao.
The weather bureau said that moderate coastal waters are expected over the remaining parts of Mindanao.
