Pacman was set to go back to the Philippines for a medical examination by an eye specialist after losing some vision in his left eye.
The New York Daily News reported that two unnamed source from Pacman’s camp issued different statements after the Pinoy boxing icon suffered from detached retina.
The boxer’s camp feared that the eye injury could end Pacman’s boxing career and might dismissed his possible rematch with Floyd Mayweather Jr.
According to another source, the boxer turned into a lawmaker suffered scratched cornea from the tape of Broner’s gloves but it was relatively minor.
The Pinoy boxer complained of pain and vision loss in his left eye while staying up all night after the Broner fight.
