Is Xian Lim transferring from ABS-CBN network to GMA-7 network?
XIAN LIM – Actor Xian Lim broke his silence on the rumors that he is set to transfer from the ABS-CBN network to the GMA-7 network.
One of the actors who gained the spotlight under the ABS-CBN network is Xian Lim. He is not only an actor but also a model, a singer, a host, a producer, and a basketball player.
Under the Kapamilya network, Xian has worked on several hit projects including My Binondo Girl in 2011 and The Story of Us in 2016. Xian and Kim Chiu, his loveteam partner, top-billed both TV series.
From 2008 until year 2017, Xian Lim is under the Star Magic, the talent management arm of ABS-CBN. It was in January last year when he transferred to Viva Artists Agency.
Following his talent management switch, there are rumors that Xian Lim will transfer from ABS-CBN network to GMA-7 network. Currently, he has no television series showing in the Kapamilya network channel.
Xian is more on doing movies now and he is thankful about it based on his interview with Pep. The actor has a new movie, Hanggang Kailan, with Louise Delos Reyes.
Based on a report, during the interview, Xian Lim also broke his silence on the rumors that he is set to transfer from ABS-CBN network to GMA-7 network.
Xian stressed that he is still with the ABS-CBN and there is no truth to his rumored transfer. According to the actor, he first knew about the rumors on social media and he has no idea on where it came from.
With regards to his lack of visibility on TV, the actor clarified that it has nothing to do with his talent management now. He stressed that he also seldom has TV projects under Star Magic.
“I don’t think the management had anything to do with it. It’s more of naghihintay lang po ako ng projects… Thankfully, yung mga pelikula ko, pasok na pasok,” he said.
Based on the report, Xian Lim has signed a 10-picture deal with Viva Entertainment. His new film company, XL8, is also the co-producer of his new movie with Louise.
As to the Kapamilya actor, the 2019 is the start for him “to make more movies”.
