ALDEN RICHARDS -The Kapuso actor tagged as “Pambansang Bae” Alden Richards finally answers the lingering “what went wrong to AlDub” question.
Phenomenal love team AlDub, Alden Richards and Maine Mendoza, is one of the breakout and record-breaking pairs from the show business industry. Their chemistry was just accidentally discovered in “Kalyeserye” and the two instantly became a love team through having that split screen communication.
However, after Maine’s open letter to fans, where she indicated that despite all the great things happening to her and her career, she felt suffocated and has no freedom. And it was where she also iterated that she and Alden are really just friends.
And now, Maine is being linked to the Kapamilya actor Arjo Atayde while Alden is having his solo projects without Yaya Dub as his love team. Their fans are certainly missing them just like they used to be before.
But what went wrong to the phenomenal love team?
In a report from PEP, Pambansang Bae Alden answered “what went wrong to AlDub” and he said that currently, Maine and him are definitely in good terms and that he is always grateful for the fans who stayed with them and believed in them that they are still strong.
So, what really went wrong? Alden replied, “I guess, nothing went wrong po. I guess, it’s a matter of choices. I’ll just leave it there na lang po, sa choices.”
He added about being at his happiest and all these things happening to them now that they are not together for almost all the time, “Hindi ko po alam, siguro po kasi, like sa akin, ang kaligayahan po, iyan yung hindi ginagamitan ng isip, it’s a feeling. Iyan ang pakiramdam na hindi mo alam kung saan galing. Gusto mo lang na malaman ng lahat na masaya ka. Sa ngayon po, mas relaxed at mas masaya kaming dalawa.”
