Batocabe slay suspect gives testimony at PNP Headquarters

Suspect in Batocabe slay, identified as Emmanuel Rosello alias Boboy, gives his testimony on January 4 at the PNP Headquarters.

AKO Bicol Party-list Representative Rodel Batocabe was murdered on December 22, 2018, while he was giving gifts to the people in his hometown.

The Congressman filed his certificate of candidacy for the 2019 elections and was supposed to run as a Mayor of Daraga.

Philippine National Police (PNP) pointed incumbent Daraga Mayor Carlwyn Baldo as the mastermind of the crime. However, he denied his involvement in the crime, based on a previous report.

One of the suspects in Batocabe slay, identified as Henry Yuson, has already surrendered to the authorities.

Another suspect recently gave his statement about the incident.

Based on the recent Twitter post of UNTV News and Rescue, suspect Emmanuel Rosello alias Boboy, gave his testimony at PNP-HQ in Camp Crame on January 4, Friday.

Reportedly, Rosello served as a backup driver of one of the getaway vehicles during the assassination of the Party-list Representative.

Meanwhile, a recent report from GMA stated that there were 2 gunmen in Batocabe slay.

One was Henry Yuson who already surrendered while the other one was identified as Rolando Aromado.

The report also said that both of them are former members of New People’s Army.

Chief Superintendent Amador Corpuz, head of the Philippine National Police  – Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (PNP-CIDG) said that the crime is already solved but not closed.

“Solved na ito pero hindi natin itinuturing na sarado na ito,” he said, based on the report.
