TAWAG NG TANGHALAN – The Tawag ng Tanghalan January 3 winner is April Luz Tolentino from Metro Manila, her first win.
The January 3 daily contenders were:
- April Luz Tolentino (Metro Manila)
- Marvi Kate Lagaya (Luzon)
- Oscar Nesperos (Visayas)
Earning the highest average score of 91.6%, April Luz Tolentino from Metro Manila was hailed as the daily winner and will be facing the defending champion Aisa Ramos from Mindanao.
During the tapatan, the final round of the competition, its daily winner versus the defending champion where they have respective performed their best to have the title and the “golden mikropono”.
With the highest score earned, April Luz Tolentino is the January 3 defending champion.
Here are the criteria for judging:
- VOICE QUALITY – 50%
- OVERALL PERFORMANCE – 50%
The judges for January 3 are Randy Santiago, Jed Madela, Maestro Louie Ocampo, Dulce, and “Punong Hurado” Rey Valera.
Tawag Ng Tanghalan is aired in the noontime show Its Showtime which is now on its third year and a singing competition for the amateur singers. The known champions from TNT were Noven Belleza, Jhon Clyd Talili, and Janine Berdin for the first year, kids edition, and second year respectively.
