Latest Weather Updates in PH Released by PAGASA (January 2, 2019)

The state weather bureau PAGASA released the newest and the latest weather updates in the country for today (January 2, 2019).

On Wednesday (January 2, 2019), the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) reported the possible weather condition.

PAGASA reported that the northeast monsoon or locally known as “Amihan” will still affect the weather system over parts of Luzon and the Visayas.

Latest Weather Updates

The northeast monsoon would bring cloudy weather conditions with light to moderate rains over Cagayan Valley and Aurora.

The Cordillera Administrative Region and Quzon would experience cloudy weather conditions with light rains due to the same weather system/

Partly cloudy to cloudy conditions with isolated light rains are also expected over Metro Manila, the rest of Luzon and the Visayas.

Localized thunderstorms would bring cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers over Mindanao region.

The weather agency also warned the public to take precautionary measures for possible flashfloods and landslides.

Meanwhile, the coastal water conditions over Luzon and the eastern sections of the Visayas and of Mindanao would be rough.

Moderate to rough surround sea conditions are expected over the remaining parts of the country.
