Tropical Depression Usman Causes Flooding Over Parts of Calbayog City in Samar
Several parts of Calbayog City in Samar got immersed in flood due to the heavy rains brought by the Tropical Depression Usman.
On Saturday (December 29, 2018), Tropical Depression Usman made a landfall on Eastern Samar and weakened into a low-pressure area.
Usman had brought heavy rains and strong winds overnight over several parts of Calbayog City in Samar.
A Facebook user named Salindayao Coquilla has shared the photos of Brgy. Tarabucan Oquendo District Calbayog City immersed in flood waters due to the heavy rains brought by Usman.
Coquilla also posted the video showing the extent flooding in the village, which has even entered homes.
Another netizen named Ethelyn Comilan Sintos has also shared a video and photos showing the floodwater level in the Oquendo area.
The weather disturbance was expected to leave the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) on Monday (December 31, 2018).
