Former Pres. Arroyo Acquitted from “Electoral Sabotage” Case By Pasay Court

ARROYO ACQUITTED – A court in Pasay acquitted former President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo from the “electoral sabotage” case filed against her.

Following her term as the President of the Philippines from 2001 until 2010, former Pres. Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo faced a lot of issues and accusations. An “electoral sabotage” case was reportedly filed against her.

In 2011, she was under hospital arrest over the “electoral sabotage” case filed against her.

Though she was still under hospital arrest in 2013, the former President won a seat as the representative of the second district of Pampanga. This 2018, she became the Speaker of the House of Representatives.

Recently, a news report regarding the “electoral sabotage” case against former Pres. Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo crossed the surface.

Arroyo Acquitted

Based on a recent post on the social media page of Manila Bulletin, Pasay Regional Trial Court (RTC) acquitted former Pres. Arroyo from the “electoral sabotage” case filed against her.

As of this writing, the House Speaker has yet to speak on the dismissal of the case against her.
