Possible Storm To Enter PAR on Christmas Day, PAGASA Says
The state weather bureau PAGASA reported that a possible storm might enter the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) on Christmas Day.
On Monday (December 24, 2018), the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) reported that a potential storm might enter the country’s vicinity tomorrow.
PAGASA reported that the low-pressure area expected to develop into a tropical cyclone was last located at 1,515 kilometers east of Mindanao.
The weather specialist Aldczar Aurelio said that Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon would have a rainy Christmas evening due to the LPA inside the country and northeast monsoon.
The low pressure area was last spotted at 80 kilometers northwest of Cuyo, Palawan affecting some parts of the country.
The weather disturbance would bring cloudy weather conditions with scattered rains over the Visayas, Davao region and Caraga.
Fair weather conditions with chances of isolated rains are expected over the rest of Mindanao.
Meanwhile, the coastal water conditions over the extreme northern Luzon would be rough to very rough.
The surrounding sea conditions over the rest of northern Luzon would be moderate to rough, according to the weather bureau.
Moderate to rough coastal water are expected over Central Luzon, and the eastern sections of southern Luzon and the Visayas.
