CPD: PRC Posts Statement On CPD Requirements For PIC Renewal

PRC Releases Statement Over the CPD Requirements in line with the Renewal of PIC

CPD – The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) posted a statement over the Continuing Professional Development requirements for the renewal of the Professional Identification Card (PIC).

The PRC caters services to thousands of graduates from different courses and professionals. Among the many services that it provides is the renewal of the PIC.

The PIC is only valid for a certain number of years and has to be renewed for its validity when it comes to certain purposes. To ensure the continuous growth of the professionals, the Continuing Professional Development Law is implemented.

A professional must be able to comply with the requirements including the CPD requirements or credit units in order for him or her to be able to renew his or her PIC.

Undeniably, lots of people are struggling because of the Continuing Professional Development Law requirements.

Meanwhile, many also recognize the goal of the law which is for the continuous growth and learning of the workforce of the country.

Recently, a good news for many individuals crossed the surface. The PRC posted a statement for professionals who wish to renew their PIC but lacks the required CPD credit units.

According to the commission, professionals may renew their PIC until December 2020 “upon execution of an undertaking to complete the required CPD credit units” until the next renewal.
