PRC Introduces Continuing Professional Development Accreditation System or CPDAS

CPDAS – The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) introduced the Continuing Professional Development Accreditation System or the CPDAS which will benefit lots of people.

The PRC offices around the Philippines are undeniably among the busiest offices in the country most especially during the schedule of the application or filing for the licensure examination for teachers (LET). It is among the board exams that usually has thousands of takers.

For a faster delivery of services to the people, the PRC has utilized the online platforms. Based on a report, application for the board exam can now be done online prior to the submission of the requirements.

The PRC has also recently come up with the CPDAS, an online system that will benefit the professionals and as well as the providers of the CPD programs.

Based on the post on the official website of the PRC, it was on May 4, 2018 when the CPDAS website first went online. The said online system will enable the “fast application and approval of CPD providers and programs”.

Furthermore, the CPD providers may submit the attendances on the seminars they conducted through the said online system. The status of an application can also be monitored online.

Based on the post of the PRC, through the CPDAS, it would also be easy for professionals to access the accredited CPD programs. The CPD Council and the Secretariat can also benefit from it.

The CPD applicants who have valid Certificate of Accreditation has until December 31, 2018 to enroll to the online system without paying the fee. An accreditation number and a three-year validity accreditation would then be given.
