Work Suspensions on December 26 Declared by Manila City Government

The City Government of Manila has declared work suspensions in all government offices throughout the entire city on December 26, 2018 (Wednesday).

Earlier, Malacañang Palace released a proclamation declaring December 25, 2018 (Christmas Day) and January 1, 2019 (New Year’s Day) as regular holdays.

The Palace has also issued a Memorandum Circular No. 54 suspending the work in government offices January 2, 2019.

Work Suspensions

Recently, Manila City Mayor Joseph Ejercito Estrada has ordered the suspension of work in the City Government of Manila on December 26, 2018.

The Executive Order No. 45 declares the suspension of government work to give the officers and personnel full opportunity to celebrate the holidays with their families and loved ones.

However, the Departments, whose functions involve in health services, responding to disaster and calamities are still required to perform their duties.
