Here is the first glance at the much-awaited homecoming of Miss Universe 2018 Catriona Gray to the Philippines.
The Pinay beauty queen is set to return to the country on Wednesday. This is after she won the most prestigious beauty pageant title last December 17 in Bangkok, Thailand.
Catriona rose above 93 candidates from different countries through her charm, remarkable beauty and wit.
From the pre-arrival, pre-pageant events and competitions, until the coronation night, the Bicolana beauty stood distinctly among other contestants.
Many said that she truly deserves the crown when her name was finally announced as the Miss Universe 2018.
She is indeed a deserving winner despite the criticisms she received.
People in the Philippines are now waiting for her homecoming after she brought a sense of pride to her country.
Fans will no longer wait that long because based on the video posted on the Twitter account of ABS-CBN News, Catriona Gray is heading back to the Philippines.
“Catriona Gray has boarded a private plane heading back to the Philippines,” the post said.

ABS-CBN reporter Dyan Castillejo shared that the plane took off from Thailand at 11 in the morning, which is about 12 noon in the Philippines. The flight was expected to reach three hours.
Catriona will arrived in the country at about 3 or 3:30 in the afternoon.
Castillejo also said that there were just about ten people in the private plane.
The reporter added that Catriona said that it is one of the happiest moments in her life and that she is still in awe.
Reportedly, this is not yet the grand homecoming of the Miss Universe 2018. Catriona is coming home for a charity event, according to Castillejo.
