The South Korean group BTS or known asBangtan Sonyeondan is a popular Kpop group known for their catchy music and meticulously choreographed dance moves.
Bangtan Sonyeondan means Bulletproof Boy Scouts rose to fame because of their most valuable musical exports.
The Hyundai Research Institute said that the floppy-haired boyband helped to boost the image if South Korean products abroad.
The institute said that BTS is a valuable economic asset of South Korea with an annual production inducement effect a total of 4.1 trillion won ($3.63 billion) per year.
The group’s total economic value generated by related industries is equivalent to the contribution of 26 mid-sized companies.
The research institute also believes that about 800,000 tourists visit South Korea because of BTS.
The Kpop group visit with over $1 billion in consumer exports including clothes, cosmetics, and foodstuffs.
