MISS UNIVERSE 2018 – The Miss Universe 2018 candidates such as Miss USA and Miss Australia were reportedly accused of bullying Miss Cambodia.
The Miss Universe 2018 candidates from USA and Australia were under fire recently for reportedly bullying fellow candidate Miss Cambodia about speaking the English language.
In a reported Instagram live, the three candidates Miss Colombia Valeria Morales, Miss USA Sarah Summers, and Miss Australia Francesca Hung were talking about other candidates.
Some clips from the IG live have circulated online and some netizens who have watched it never liked Miss USA’s comment about Miss Cambodia Nat Rern being not fluent in English.
She said, “I was talking to Francesca [Miss Australia] the other day, Miss Cambodia is here and doesn’t speak any English and not a single other person speaks her language. Can you imagine, like, Francesca said that that would be so isolating and I said yes and just confusing all the time.”
Miss USA even face Miss Colombia to praise her for speaking and understanding the English language so well. Watch the video posted below:
They were also asked what they think about Miss Vietnam H’Hen Nie. Miss Colombia and Miss Australia praised Miss Vietnam’s elegance and her great fashion taste. However, Miss USA expressed how Miss Vietnam would pretend to know the English language.
“She’s so cute and she pretends to know so much English. And then you ask her a question after having a whole conversation with her and she goes [acting nodding] She’s adorable!” Miss USA said.
In a report from PEP, Miss Cambodia accordingly did not get hurt over the comments received from her fellow candidates but instead felt bad for her friends were bashed.
The three already apologized to her and what they said were just accordingly “taken out context”.
