CHINESE TOURISTS – New flight routes have been added to the Kalibo International Airport, which enables Chinese tourists to visit the Boracay Island.

A report from Bombo Radyo says that the Boracay island is flowing from tourists that came from China. This is because of the new flights that was added to the Kalibo International Airport on December 7 (Friday), as confirmed by Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP) -Aklan Manager Engr. Eusebio Monserate Jr.

This is the first time the airport can now accept routes from and to the cities of Nanjing and Changsha from China.

The Chinese are second to Koreans who took their vacation to the famous Boracay Island.

As per the report, Monserate also revealed an operation by CAAP-Aklan, which makes them prepared for possible overflowing of travelers this holiday season, followed up by their famous Ati-Atihan festival which will be held in January.
