Police Officers Give Christmas Surprise to Jeepney Drivers in Cebu City
JEEPNEY DRIVERS – Police officers stopped 500 jeepney drivers in Cebu City and gave them a Christmas surprise.
It’s Christmas time which means it’s also time for giving gifts and sharing love all over the world. Aside from the birth of Jesus Christ, it’s also been a tradition for the families to gather.
The children are the most excited to open their gifts given by their beloved parents or from “Ninongs” and “Ninangs”.
Meanwhile, Police officers from Cebu City generously gave Christmas presents to 500 jeepney drivers last December 10.
These jeepney drivers were stopped by the police officers and acting out like they have obtained a traffic violation.
Instead of handed them tickets, they gave them a bundle of gifts which made the jeepney drivers happy for the wonderful Christmas surprise.
On the Facebook post from Sun Star Cebu, they shared a video of a jeepney driver accompanied by his wife and the Police Officer told them that the driver bumped into someone earlier that day.
The wife of the driver got nervous about the news and was clearly upset about what her husband might have committed.
The police officer told both of them that they ran over a man by the name “Rudolf the Red Nose Reindeer” and sang a Christmas carol song.
They handed the jeepney driver and his wife the presents which include a small pillow, a box of doughnuts and a loaf of bread.
These police officers in Cebu indeed made the Jeepney driver’s Christmas extra special for sharing their blessings.
