“Give him a break please,” Lolit Solis urged critics of Bong Revilla
Entertainment columnist Lolit Solis called out to the critics of Senator Bong Revilla to give him a break.
Bong has undergone a lot of criticisms when his name was involved with the pork barrel scam.
The lawmaker was detained for four years and it was just recently that the Sandiganbayan acquitted him.
However, even though he has cleared his name on the court, there are still those who are criticizing him.
Apparently, not everyone agreed to the decision of Sandiganbayan regarding his case.
In line with this, Lolit Solis wrote an Instagram post for Bong Revilla and those who are still criticizing him.
According to the entertainment columnist, critics are not hurting the lawmaker when they are criticizing his acquittal but it is the judges who gave the decision.
“Four years and a half na yun. Tigilan na natin ang paghila kay Bong pababa. Hayaan na natin siya. Give him a break please,” the showbiz reporter said.
On the other hand, Lolit thanked those who showed support to the actor-politician.
She also thanked the judges who saw Bong’s innocence because there was actually lack of evidence.
In addition, she said that she is praying for the critics of the Senator.
After more than four years, Lolit said that she has already accustomed in visiting Bong in the detention center.
However, she is happy that she will no longer do that anymore following the “not guilty” decision of Sandiganbayan for Bong Revilla.
She also said that her greetings of Merry Christmas and Happy Birthday to the Senator will be even happier.
