Edu Manzano answered netizens who criticized Tirso Cruz III’s flash mob during TJ’s last of wake
Veteran actor Edu Manzano defended his fellow actor Tirso Cruz for the flash mob they did during TJ’s last day of the wake.
The eldest son of Tirso passed away due to cancer and many celebrities expressed their condolences for Cruz family.
On the other hand, during the last of the wake of TJ, the Cruz family decided to celebrate his life with a praise song.
Together with other members of the Cruz clan, Tirso performed a dance alongside with dancer-actor Rodjun Cruz.
For some, it was a unique way to hold the last day of his wake. On the other hand, there were those who did not like it.
Edu Manzano also shared the video of the flash mob on his Instagram account.
Instagram user @charmainedee10 said that it seemed appropriate for the parents of the late actor to do a flash mob for the last day of his wake.
“Para s amin d magndang tingnn n nagssaya ung parents ng namatay…. d ba sila nagmomournd?!?!! parang ok lang ?:(:(it’s not really ok.” the said netizen commented.
This received a straightforward reply from Ang Probinsyano actor Edu Manzano.
“We all choose to mourn in our own way. Hindi natin alam kung ano ang wishes ni TJ.” the veteran actor said.
Another netizen, IG user @liza_aragon, stressed out that parents of TJ should be mourning on that particular instance.
Edu answered that the Cruz family had been grieving since TJ was diagnosed with cancer.
“The family I’m sure has cried much and felt much mula ng ma-diagnose si TJ. I leave it to the family to choose how to celebrate his life. As a parent I know the family will continue to carry TJ in their hearts every waking day,” he replied.
Actress Melissa Mendez also wants the same celebration for her wake if ever.
