Latest Updates About Tropical Depression Samuel Released By PAGASA
The state weather bureau PAGASA released the newest and the latest updates about Tropical Depression Samuel affecting the country’s weather condition.
On Wednesday (November 21, 2018), the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) reported the current news about Tropical Depression Samuel.
PAGASA reported that Samuel was last spotted at 90 kilometers east-southeast of Roxas City, Capiz after hitting Borongan City, Eastern Samar this morning.
Samuel slightly weakened maintaining maximum sustained winds of 45 kilometers per hour (kph) but has a gustiness of up to 70 kph moving 30 kph at a west direction towards Iloilo.
The weather agency has also advised the public to take precautionary measures for possible flashfloods and landslides due to the inclement weather brought by the tropical depression.

- Masbate (Ticao Island)
- Romblon
- Southern Oriental Mindoro
- Southern Occidental Mindoro
- Palawan (Cuyo Island & Calamian Group of Islands)
- Biliran
- Leyte
- Northern Cebu
- Northern Negros Occidental
- Guimaras
- Iloilo
- Capiz
- Aklan
- Antique
The residents of Bicol Region, MIMAROPA and Quezon were advised to coordinate with local disaster authorities for the possible threats of the weather disturbance.
The weather bureau also warned the fisherfolks over the northern and eastern seaboards of Luzon that sea travel remains risky.
