The Metro Inn Hotel at 6th Street at Bacolod City is currently in tension due to the ongoing standoff triggered by the conflict between Cabuga couple.
Atty. Jomax Ortiz, the lawyer of Cathy Brios Cabuga said that he met his client to discuss some matters on Monday evening (November 19, 2018).
After a few moments, Francis Cabuga, Cathy’s estranged husband suddenly entered the hotel along with his lawyer and blue guards.
Francis ordered to close the two main entrance of Metro Inn and posted a signage stating “No Trespassing” and “For Audit & Inventory”.
Some social media users said that Francis and Cathy were having a conflict with the ownership of Metro Inn, which is allegedly a conjugal property.

As of now, the hotel guests remain inside the establishment aside from the two who checked out early Tuesday morning.
A certain guest was able to contact Bombo Radyo and reported that the guests inside the hotel were already hungry since the morning shift employees were not also allowed to enter the building.
The guests were also hoping to receive food delivery since all they have is water inside the establishment.
Ortiz was also hoping for a peaceful transaction to prevent any violent incidents in the hotel.
