Class Suspensions On Monday (November 19)

Several local government units have declared class suspensions over some parts of the country due to Tropical Depression Samuel.

On Monday (November 19, 2018), the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) reported that Tropical Depression would bring rains in several areas.

Samuel was expected to make landfall over the islands of Siargao and Dinagat on Tuesday evening (November 20, 2018).

The weather agency also said that Samuel could intensify into a tropical storm like Urduja before leaving the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR).

The local government units have already declared the suspension of classes ahead of Samuel’s landfall over Siargao and Dinagat islands.

The weather disturbance was expected to leave the country’s vicinity by Thursday (November 22, 2018).
