TAWAG NG TANGHALAN – The Tawag ng Tanghalan November 16 winner is Armando Mandapat from Metro Manila.
The Tawag Ng Tanghalan, a singing competition for the amateur singers regardless of any discrimination is currently aired in the noontime show Its Showtime. The competition is now in its 3rd year.
And for today, the judges were Karylle, Randy Santiago, Mitoy, Yeng Constantino, and “Punong Hurado” Rey Valera.
Meanwhile, the November 16 daily contenders are Armando Mandapat from Metro Manila, Kaey Pablo of Luzon, and a “resbaker” from Mindanao is Emily Uy.
Performing their best armed with their distinct singing voices and in hopes to defeat the defending champion Kevin Ibanez, the one who bested out among the three is the one from Metro Manila with an average score of 95.6%
Facing the defending champion in the final round, the “Tapatan”, the daily winner Armando Mandapat performed “Dakilang Lahi” and the defending champion from the Visayas sang the hit love song “I’ll Make Love To You”.
However, despite the fact that both of them have performed well, the judges just have to choose one and the hailed defending champion for November 16 is the daily winner. A new defending champion has been hailed garnering an average score of 96.6%.
Noven Belleza is the hailed grand champion for the first year, Tawag Ng Tanghalan Kids champion is Jhon Clyd Talili, and Janine Berdin as the second grand champion.
