ROBIN PADILLA RANTS – The actor known for his utmost love for country is Robin Padilla, and triggered with CHED’s current issue, here’s his reaction.
With the help of the social media platform, the involvement of the celebrities over the current issues of the society has been heard and sometimes, through them, little voice has been heard as well.
And now, one of the targets of controversy is the abolition of the teaching of Panitikan and Filipino as core subjects and the inclusion of Korean language which has received dismay reactions from a lot of people.
Comedienne Kakai Bautista even reacted to this and said, “Oo we love Korea, Koreans. Their telenovelas, their food. Their pop superstars. I don’t hate them. I am actually a fan. PERO sana po @PhCHED wag naman nating gawin to. Pls. don’t let them invade our own culture. Cut Panitikan to teach korean language. NO!!!”
And now, the known person who is probably willing to die for the country, Robin Padilla, firmly and strongly objected to this as he said:
Ako ay solid sa Duterte Adminsitration pero sa araw na ito ang Katipunan ay NAGLULUKSA! Ako ay Mula sa lahi ng mga Lakan ng Tondo, Ako ay Hubog kay Lapu Lapu at ang aking hinihinga ay hangin mula sa kalayaang inihandog sa akin ng katipunan. Kailanman hindi ako magiging alipin ng kahit na sinong dayuhan sa sarili kong Bayan….. hinding hindi mangyayari na tutulugan ito. Ang PILIPINAS ay para sa PILIPINO! Wika ko! Kultura ko! Tradisyon ko! Hindi ako pabrika ng mga alipin na inihahanda para iexport sa mayayaman na bansa! at ang mga lokal sa Inangbayan ay maging mangmang kung sino sya.
