Former PBA Coach Dante Silverio Arrested After Firing Gun Over Argument

Former coach Dante Silverio of the Philippine Basketball Association (PBA) got arrested after allegedly firing a gun over an argument.

The authorities arrested ex-PBA coach Dante Silverio after firing a gun near his home in Barangay Magallanes, Makati City.

Makati City Police Chief Insp. Gideon Ines said that Coach Dante had an exchange of heated argument against his neighbor.

Silverio fired his caliber 38 after having a long-time feud with his neighbor and quickly escape using his white Fortuner.

The neighbor immediately called the police and chased Silverio who was arrested at his office in Chino Roces Extension.

The police investigation shows that the firing incident happened around 10:23 am on Friday (November 9, 2018) in Ecology Village, Barangay Magallanes, Makati City.

However, the authorities failed to recover the firearm allegedly used by the former coach on the incident.

Currently, Silverio in under hospital arrest at the Makati Medical Center after complaining of stomach and chest pains.

Silverio, the former coach of PBA teams Toyota and Shell will face charges of alarm and scandal due to the incident.
