Boy Abunda is willing to enter politics but in one condition
Prominent talk show host Boy Abunda expressed his willingness to enter politics serve the government in one condition.
It is not a new thing anymore that personalities in show business enter the world of politics.
Since some of the family members of Boy are already in politics, he was asked if he is also going to serve the government.
His sister Manang Fe, who is the former Mayor of Borongan, Samar, will run as Representative for 2019 elections.
Furthermore, her mother and father also became Mayors of their hometown.
In line with, the TV host was asked about being in politics also.
Based on the article published in Bandera, the Tonight With Boy Abunda host said that he is willing to be a public servant in the future.
He said that he does not think politics is in his belly.
“Sabi ko nga, hindi naman ako mahiyain. Ang tagal nang itsinitsismis sa amin that I am running as governor, running for Congress. Ako naman talaga, hindi ko rin masisisi ang mga tao dahil sa aming pamilya ako lang ang hindi pumasok sa politika,” he shared.
He added that people who are expecting him to be in politics has basis because of his family’s track record.
On the other hand, as of the moment, he is not thinking of running for any position in the government.
Boy Abunda, however, said that he might accept appointive position and it should be after his contract in the Kapamilya network.
“Wala pa sa aking sistema. But an appointive position is something positive in the next years. After my contracts with ABS,” the TV host said.
Based on the article, the contract of Boy Abunda in ABS-CBN will end in 2020.
