Latest Updates About Typhoon Rosita Released By PAGASA
The state weather bureau PAGASA released the latest updates about Typhoon Rosita that remains stationary over the West Philippine Sea.
On Wednesday (October 31, 2018), the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) reported that Typhoon Rosita weakened slightly.
Rosita was last spotted 210 kilometers northwest of Pangasinan’s Dagupan City hovering over the West Philippine Sea.
The Typhoon has maximum sustained winds of 100 kilometers per hour (kph) and gustiness of 120 kph.
PAGASA also lifted all Tropical Cyclone Warning Signals in the country but warned that Rosita might still bring cloudy weather conditions with scattered rainshowers over Ilocos, Cagayan Valley, CAR, and Central Luzon Regions.
The weather disturbance was expected to leave the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) by Wednesday afternoon.
The weather agency also warned the residents in the affected areas to take precautionary measures for possible flashfloods and landslides.
Meanwhile, sea travel remains risky because of the rough coastal water conditions over northern Luzon and the western seaboards of Central and southern Luzon.
