Undeniably, the Filipino people are fond of using Hugot Line – a statement that carries a comparison of a thing or an incident to an emotion.

Meanwhile, not only the Filipino people are the ones who are fond of these entertaining statements. One American who strolled Bacolod City in Negros Occidental is proof to that.
On Facebook, a video of an American man who is fond of using Hugot Lines crossed the social media.
The viral video showed the foreigner strolling around Bacolod City and entering different stores. He used the said entertaining statements on conversations to food chain cashiers, vendors, and sales ladies.
Based on the viral video of the American man posted on Bisayang Hilaw Facebook page, he went to Chinky’s, Bongbong’s, Grace Pharmacy, a cellphone repair shop, and Chicken Deli among others.
The American man ordered Halo-Halo in Chinky’s, Piaya in Bongbong’s, medicine for the heart in Grace Pharmacy, a Talk ‘N Text sim in a cellphone repair shop, and a Pecho Pak in Chicken Deli.
For his every order, he got a Hugot Line related to either love, relationship, or heartbreak. Here is the full video posted on social media:
